Arsenal are back in action this weekend with a trip to Manchester City. This will be the third meeting between Mikel Arteta and his mentor Pep Guardiola. It will be a very tricky match as most players are just returning form international duty. Pep will try and correct his team’s poor start to the season with a win, while Arteta will try and upset City and capitalize on their current poor form. We are expecting a tactical and entertaining match from the two. We hope Arsenal continue their resilience run against big teams and put in a very good performance to nullify City and take all 3 points.
Man City will be without Kevin De Bruyne which is a positive for Arsenal. Kieran Tierney could feature for Arsenal as he was finally allowed to take part in the game. There could also be a debut for Thomas Partey he’s fit and could hit the ground running on Saturday.
PREDICTION: WIN / 3-1
We have a run of difficult games coming up and will help our top 4 hopes if we start it with a win against City. We have a good record against big teams in recent games and I only see Mikel continuing that.
FORMATION: 4-3-3
City are looking a bit shaky in defense and we should take the game to them. Playing a 3 man midfield will allow us to dominate them as they will be missing Kevin De Bruyne. An extra man in midfield will also allow us to play through their midfield, create chances and at the same time cut their passing lines and provide a shield to the back 4.
