Matt Macey has been at the club since 2013 and had multiple loan spells similar to Emi Martinez. He’s 1.86 m (6 ft 1 in), 26 years old, still a very good age for a goalkeeper. If we dont give Matt Macey a chance until the summer we might make the same mistake we did with Martinez. We will only know how good he is if we give him a run of games, and then we can decide to keep him as Bernd Leno’s number two or let him go.
