Its match day 24 and Arsenal are sitting 11th on the table with 31 points, 8 from the 5th position and 9 from 4th. Its a gap dived by 3 to 5 games in which we have to face Man City, Leicester and Tottenham. This is therefore a must win game for us because we need to restore our hopes of finishing in the European places. The only way possible is getting on a run of wins and hope that those around us drop points in the process. Nothing but a win is expected from this game.

Leeds are no cowards and we should not disrespect them so we have to go with our best 11. Team rotation will be key especially with the Europa League coming back. We have to win at Benfica as well so we have to play a very balance team for two games that are 4 days apart. With that said lets take a look at the predicted starting lineup.

GK:

Bernd Leno is available for selection after serving his suspension. Matt Ryan impressed on his debut and he will get another opportunity to impress on Thursday when we play Benfica.

DF:

Pablo Mari has been back in full training for almost two and a half weeks. He should be up to speed by now and is the player I want to bring back to our defense. He has leadership qualities that are lacking in our backline. Next him will be Holding who has been very consistent since December. With Tierney still out, Bellerin and Cedric will continue to play in the full back positions.

MF:

Thomas Partey is injured again so that means Dani Ceballos will come in next to Xhaka, who have been playing very well in the previous games. We have a big Europa League game in 4 days so you would think Arteta will want to save Smith Rowe for that one and give Odegaard minutes to see what he can offer diferent. I therefore feel like Odegaard will get a his debut on Sunday in the number 10 role.

FW:

I dont see Arteta changing the front three of Saka, Pepe and Lacazette. They look very good together and pose a lot of threat. Aubameyang need to earn his place back and could possibly be a starter on Thursday. Martinelli, Willian and Nelson could also be involved from the bench.
